How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Alpharetta’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, plus places we found in the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau’s dining listings and in Avalon’s directory. We checked each place’s own website on Oct. 4, 2026, and kept only those whose own site describes a patio, rooftop or outdoor seating at the Alpharetta location. Many other restaurants may have a few outside tables; this list covers the ones that say so. It is alphabetical, not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run a place with a patio? Write to us to be added.
