Most of Alpharetta’s independent coffee shops and breakfast cafes are downtown, on Main Street, Milton Avenue, Canton Street and Roswell Street. Bagel shops and breakfast chains are on Windward Parkway, Haynes Bridge Road and Old Milton Parkway. For weekend brunch menus, see our brunch list.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Alpharetta’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 4, 2026. We added places we found in the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau’s dining listings and in Avalon’s directory. Where a site would not load or gave no street address, the address comes from a 2026 record in the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database. The list is alphabetical. Bagel Boys Cafe sells bagels, breakfast and deli sandwiches and caters from Haynes Bridge Road. It has a second shop in Sandy Springs.

Boarding Pass Coffee is a specialty roaster. Its Alpharetta City Center cafe also pours craft beer and wine, its site says.

BrewAble Cafe describes itself as a nonprofit coffee shop and bakery.

Cafe Intermezzo is a European-style coffeehouse with pastries, lunch, dinner and a long drinks list. Its own site lists the Avalon cafe; hours here are from Avalon’s directory.

Egg Harbor Cafe is the breakfast and lunch chain’s North Point location. Its site would not load for us, so we confirmed it through a May 18, 2026, inspection record.

Einstein Bros. Bagels is the bagel chain’s Windward Parkway and GA 400 store, the earliest opening on this list.

Grouchy’s New York Deli advertises “Breakfast Daily!” alongside Boar’s Head sandwiches. See also our directory listing.

Hen Mother Cookhouse is a South Main Street cafe that also has a Johns Creek location.

J. Christopher’s is open mornings into the early afternoon at Windward Plaza, takes online orders and posts its Windward menu as a download.

Just Love Coffee Cafe pairs hand-crafted coffee with breakfast and lunch plates on North Main Street.

Manhattan NY Deli & Bagels bakes bagels daily and serves sandwiches and soups on Old Milton Parkway.

Never Enough Thyme is a cafe at 8 S. Main St. Its site did not load for us, so we confirmed it through a Feb. 12, 2026, inspection record.

Shibam Coffee Co. is a coffee chain with a cafe on North Point Parkway; the address is from a March 3, 2026, inspection record.

Southern Porch on Main is at 62 N. Main St. Its site did not load for us, so we confirmed it through an Aug. 14, 2026, inspection record.

Taste the Flavor Brunch Bar serves Southern-inspired brunch every day on Windward Parkway.
