Date night in Alpharetta: steakhouses and Italian at Avalon, a 350-wine bar, a rooftop patio, comedy, free Friday music and dessert until 1 a.m.
Last checked 2026-10-04. Hours and details come from each restaurant’s or venue’s own site, or from Avalon’s directory where we say so. This is a list, not a ranking; check hours before you book.
Most of Alpharetta’s sit-down dinners are within a few minutes’ walk of each other at Avalon, which keeps the evening simple: park once, eat, then walk to a show, a wine bar or dessert. Downtown has its own options on Main Street.

- Book dinner: call the restaurant, or ask Avalon Concierge (770-765-1000), which takes reservation requests.
- Parking: Avalon’s decks are free; valet is $12.
- After dinner: Helium Comedy Club, Avalon’s free Friday music through Oct. 30, or Lights on the Loop from Dec. 4.
- Under 21? Avalon does not allow under-21s on the property after 10 p.m.
