Redistricting. Barnwell Elementary is not among the schools in the district’s current redistricting, consolidation and closure review, but Autrey Mill Middle and Haynes Bridge Middle, where Barnwell students go next, are. The School Board voted Sept. 17, 2026, to start the process, and the district says no zone changes, closures or consolidations have been approved. The middle school forums are at Centennial High School in Roswell from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, Wednesday, Nov. 11, and Tuesday, Dec. 15, and the board’s final vote is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25, 2027.
