Ameris Bank Amphitheatre is the outdoor amphitheater run by Live Nation. Its website sells tickets, reserved parking near the gate, reserved lawn seating with an Adirondack chair, Fast Lane entry and a lounge in the Lower West Plaza. Read its “need-to-know before you go” and parking pages before a show.

Spotlight Community Stage is a partnership between the city and North Point Mall: a flexible room with a stage, lighting and sound, seating up to 150, the city says. Community theater and music groups rent it, so the calendar changes week to week.

Helium Comedy Club books touring comics in a small room; shows average an hour and 40 minutes with an opener, a feature and a headliner, and no seat is more than 60 feet from the stage, Helium says. Listed prices include fees. It is 18 and over, with a two-item minimum, and non-smoking.

Free music and comedy outdoors
