Animal control
The city says loose dogs in Alpharetta are a Fulton County matter. Fulton County contracts with LifeLine Animal Project to run animal services for the county and its cities. Call 404-613-0358 and choose option 2 for strays, bites, injured animals or cruelty. Field officers work 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends, with emergencies only after hours, according to Fulton County Animal Services. Fulton County Animal Services does not remove dead animals; for one in a public space in Alpharetta, call City Hall at 678-297-6000.
