Holcomb Bridge Middle School is a Fulton County Schools middle school for grades 6 to 8 on Holcomb Bridge Road. The school, the state and federal records all use an Alpharetta mailing address, but the district’s own school map data places the building inside Roswell city limits. The redistricting review
Holcomb Bridge is one of four middle schools in the district’s 2026-27 redistricting, consolidation and closure process for schools north of the Chattahoochee River. Two of its feeder elementary schools, Esther Jackson and Vickery Mill, are also on the list. The School Board voted Sept. 17, 2026, to start the process. The district says no zone changes, closures or consolidations have been approved.
- A Sept. 10 district presentation shaded the Holcomb Bridge zone in the band for 11 to 14 more classrooms than its forecast needs by 2030-31, and marked the school for both a “potential gain” and a “potential loss.”
- The middle school forums are at Centennial High School, 9310 Scott Road in Roswell, from 6 to 8 p.m.: Wednesday, Oct. 7 (no map shown), Wednesday, Nov. 11 (first draft map) and Tuesday, Dec. 15 (revised map). Each has a virtual version the next day.
- School Board members hold a community meeting at Holcomb Bridge Middle at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2027.
- The board’s final vote is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25, 2027.
