- 6 to 7 a.m.: gear bag drop-off at the start
- 6:55 a.m.: national anthem
- 8 a.m. to noon: post-race party
- 10 a.m.: half marathon awards on stage
Packet pickup is at Big Peach Running Co., 5530 Windward Parkway, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Race-morning pickup, 6 to 6:45 a.m., is only for athletes who have arranged it by emailing info@race10x.com. The organizer says the schedule may change.
Where it is and parking
Both races start and finish at Avalon, the shopping and dining district off Old Milton Parkway. Our Avalon guide has more on the district.
From the race’s parking and road closures page:
- Avalon’s parking lots open at 5 a.m. Park in the lots marked blue on the race’s parking map.
- There are seven ways into the Avalon property, from Old Milton Parkway and Westside Parkway.
- The Whole Foods parking lot and Avalon’s resident lots are off-limits to runners. Cars parked there can be towed or fined.
- Runners should be parked and at the start line by 7 a.m.

Tickets and cost
Registration is online through the race’s registration page. Prices rise as race day nears; from Oct. 2 through race day they are:
- Half marathon: $90
- 5K: $45
There is no registration on race day. Every preregistered runner gets a race shirt, a finisher medal, bib tag timing, free downloadable race photos and food and drinks after the race.
What to know
- Who can enter: it is a women’s race, and the organizer welcomes walkers as well as runners.
- Time limit: the course closes after four hours.
- Start: runners start in waves, grouped by estimated finish time in holding corrals. Your time starts when you cross the timing mat, not when the gun goes off.
